Jamie McDaniel hugs JJ, a saddle bred horse, after class at Stephen’s College Equestrian Center on Wednesday, September 10. “He [JJ] is my buddy and he takes care of me,” McDaniel said. When McDaniel was 4 she asked her mother if she could take riding lessons, she has been riding ever since. After graduation she plans to teach children how to ride horses.
